Inviscid flow computational modeling by the fractional dimension method

Download article in PDF format

Abstract: The original approach is offered for simulation a some class of gas dynamic problems, for which direction of primary gas moving can be specified. This method combines sufficient detailing of three-dimensional approach and enough efficiency of one-dimensional approach for description of gas flows. Physicist-mathematical model and method to solve the problem are presented in detail. The efficiency of proposed approach is demonstrated by simulation for gas moving into the three-dimensional channels.

Keywords: hyperbolic partial differential equations, three-dimensional channels, godunov's method
