Abstract: The PID-controller tuning approach for non-overshooting transient guaranteeing response is considered. The approach is based on tuning parameters of PID-controller that provide closed-loop system with second-order oscillatory plant having exclusively real poles. Analytic expressions that constrain range of acceptable tuning parameters are obtained. Modeling was conducted using Matlab.
