Research of the direction of secondary electromagnetic radiation from a personal computer

Abstract: The work is devoted to the research of the propagation of secondary electromagnetic radiation from devices in a personal computer. In the course of the work, experiments were performed demonstrating non-uniform characteristics of the radiation pattern. The calculations are given that allow one to assess the influence of uneven distribution on the security of information. It is concluded that the magnitude of the signal level fluctuations, depending on the direction of the radiation, affects the security of information.
