Abstract: It is proposed to create a virtual communication environment for students in e-learning system as means to provide feedback with a teacher, in particular – the creation of a virtual assistant who helps gives pedagogical aid. The structure and function of the intellectual software system, which plays the role of the assistant, is defined. We also considered software solutions for creating a virtual assistant, including components for speech synthesis and facial animation.
