Abstract: The paper considers the problem of numerical estimation of the parameters of a nonlinear dynamic model for the automated control system of a nuclear reactor. In forming the computational algorithms there are used approximation of the nonlinear function by Taylor series. A modified technique of quasi-linearization, which allows to extend the domain of initial approximation and to increase the speed of convergence by taking into account the higher derivatives, is suggested.
