Full compensation of the intermodal dispersion in optical fibers with Kerr effect

Abstract: The total compensation of the intermode dispersion in multimode graded-index optical Kerr-effect fibers due to nonlinear perturbations of the propagation constants is considered. The compensation conditions in weakly-guide quartz optical fibers with 6 and 9 microns core diameter are determined.
