Abstract: The authors proposed a method of the directivity pattern approximation for the antenna system used in the multichannel terrestrial radiation sources finding. Approximation algorithm is simulated. Requirements to the input data selection and the approximating function parameters are defined. Accuracy of the antenna pattern approximation for different pattern forms and for different signal-to-noise ratios is estimated.
