Abstract: The routing features in wireless Ad hoc networks are described. The corresponding routing protocols are reviewed. It is shown that the simulation is the most accessible and reliable technique for evaluating the routing protocols performance in present mobile Ad hoc networks. An example of the performance simulation in mobile Ad hoc network is presented for such protocols as AODV, DSR, LANMAR, OLSR, OSPFv2, ZRP.
