Abstract: The given paper describes development and investigations of a low-noise ultra-wide band amplifier for 1–6 GHz frequency range. The amplifier is characterized by the following parameters: 40 dB gain (gain flatness is not worse than 3 dB), 1.5 dB noise figure, and +20 dBm output power at 1 dB gain compression, with 110 mA current consumption from +5 V voltage supply. There is a protection against reversal of supply voltage polarity.
