Abstract: This paper examines the use of optical flow algorithms in the problem of calculating image displacement when using an underlying surface. The existing approaches to solving the problem are considered, and the goal of the work and tasks to achieve the goal are set. A description of the most well-known and common optical flow algorithms is given. The requirements for the algorithm are formulated. A description of a software to simulate flight on the underlying surface is given. The results of experiments experiments determining the optimal parameters of the optical flow algorithm are presented in graphical form.
