Abstract: The article presents the design process and experimental research results of a broadband balanced mixer with frequency range from 5 to 26 GHz. This mixer was designed using Micran GaAs monolithic integrated technology (MMIC). The results of simulation are presented in comparison with measured data. Obtained performance was compared to other commercially available MMICs.
