Abstract: A reconfigurable mathematical model of a lithium-ion battery (LIA) based on the Schaeferd and Thevenin models is developed. The capacity and the active resistance of the battery are used as variable parameters. The algorithm to determine these parameters at the current moment of time allows taking into account the influence of such an important phenomenon as the degradation of material properties of LIA elements on the battery characteristics. The modeling results reflect the high efficiency of the proposed approach.
