Efficiency evaluation for the light distribution of lighting devices

Annotation: In the present work, a method for estimating the efficiency of light distribution of lighting devices has been developed. It is proposed to introduce the parameter of the ηlic to estimate the efficiency of light intensity curve. Parameter of ηlic is calculated for standard types of light curves and for lighting installations for growing microalgae of industrial, greenhouse, typical office and industrial purposes. The results of the article can be useful for professionals involved in the design of lighting installations and systems, the development of lighting devices, as well as professionals working in the energy industries.
