Channel waveguide structures optically induced in a lithium niobate crystal with a photorefractive surface layer

Abstract: Experimental results of studies of channel waveguide structures formation in Y-cut lithium niobate samples with photorefractive surface layers are demonstrated. The structures are obtained by point-by-point inducing of refractive index changes by laser radiation from blue-green range.
