Abstract: This paper presents analysis of using SMARC system-on-modules as a key element for robot computation units (RCU). Such approach gives several advances comparing to monolithic ARM-based systems. Unification of hardware and software platforms leads to development speed-up, decrease of development cost and complexity. Also, we get a good base for step-by-step localization of semiconductor chips.
