Abstract: The paper describes a FPGA-based device simulating signals of the reaction wheel shaft encoder. Such a device can be used for generating master signals in the reaction wheel electric drive with phase alignment. The qualifying standards and requirements to digital reference model were formulated. The block diagram, functioning algorithms, basic formulas and timing diagrams of the developed device were represented.
