Abstract: In the paper we suggest an algorithm for solving inverse problems of pollutant transport using a modified method of Marchuk. Independent conjugate equations are integrated for solving the inverse problem at each time step. Such conditions of numerical investigation allow to attract high-performance computing. There are the following ways for the parallel implementation of numerical solution of pollutant transport: geometrical decomposition, functional decomposition, the combination of functional and geometric decomposition.
