Abstract: Based on the analysis of the Jones vector components in their own basis of the propagation medium, the calculated ratios for estimating the value of the linear depolarization ratio and the differential reflectivity are obtained. The results of calculations of this value at the point of reception of the radar signal are given. The results are analyzed.
