Abstract: Serial model servos do not satisfy the requirements applicable to the actuators in robotics, due to the lack of feedback from the onboard computer and the impossibility to change the parameters of the control law. This paper analyzes existing solutions and learn how to create a master controller that allows you to upgrade a standard model servo for use in robotics.
