Video system for environmental ecological monitoring and oceanological research

Annotation: The research presents the equipment complex based on multiple video systems. The system is designed for monitoring the dynamic characteristics of sea surface pollution, researching the dynamic of vortex formations, the surface visualization of internal waves. It can be used for ground truth experiments, monitoring ship traffic. The analysis of the temporal sequence of panoramic images obtained by the video system allows to estimate the velocity field of vortex formations, the phase velocity of surface manifestations of internal waves and the nearsurface wind speed, the sources, the intensity and dynamics of sea surface pollution. The examples of registration ocean microvortices, internal waves and organic films of anthropogenic origin are given.
