Annotation: The goal of the paper is improving the accuracy of calculation of the coherent component of the stochastic electromagnetic field by the numerical solution of the wave parabolic equation. Using the method of geometrical optics we remove the limitation on the delta-correlated inhomogeneities (Markov approximation). There are tested three models of medium inhomogeneities: Booker-Gordon, Gaussian and Kolmogorov-Obukhov. Estimates of mean field obtained for each of models were compared with the results obtained in the Markov approximation. The comparison of the mean field calculation using the proposed method and the method of statistical tests is carried out. It is shown the error calculation does not exceed 10% in the considered cases.
