Abstract: The article discusses the construction of the production function, describing the volume of small business production in the regions of the Russian Federation. Suggested mathematical model shows the relationship between the turnover of small enterprises and two factors: the wage costs and investment in small enterprises basic capital. The results of the research can be used to improve the management of small business.
