Abstract: Basing on the structure of a natural number square root, the author gives the detailed description (algorithm) of a method providing the correct calculation of a natural number square root and a residue. The method allows to fasten the process in case of big numbers. There are recommendations how to get the better accuracy of calculations. The direction of the future research is also characterized.
