Optical sensors for ammonia detection based on multilayer biopolymer coatings with immobilized pH dye

Abstract: Optical and sensor properties of chitosan/ carrageenan multilayer of biopolymer coatings with immobilized pH dye were investigated. The features of highly sensitive optical waveguide sensor for ammonia based on these coatings are shown.
