Abstract: A LOCUS software tool is presented for the «visual» design of correcting and matching networks. It is developed on the basis of Indesys environment. Main advantages of new version of LOCUS compared to previous versions are described, and a feasibility of employing Indesys environment as a platform for the synthesis software development is discussed. In a new version, the «visual» design of MMIC correcting and matching networks based on model transformation method as well as the correcting networks’ design with accounting for temperature influence on passive and active elements is implemented. As an example, a solution of Fano’s task is demonstrated with using «visual» technique and new LOCUS software.
