Abstract: In the article the typology of engineering networks is given and the classification of the problems solved during their operation is offered. The features of the basic classes of problems are considered: problems of inventory, certification and account; problems of spatial modelling; problems of predesign and operational analysis; problems of modelling of life cycle of objects and the equipment; problems of information supply of managerial processes and the analysis of engineering networks.
