Abstract: The statement of nonlinear problem of calculation of base station coverage area of GSM cellular network, which is based on the linearization of the Newton-Raphson nonlinear systems of algebraic equations by the given two-dimensional density of subscribers location, is given. The efficiency of the suggested method for solution of network planning and optimization problems is evaluated.
