Annotation: The propagation of light pulse in multimode optical fibers with Kerr-type optical nonlinearity is considered. It is shown that nonlinear perturbations of the propagation constants of waveguide modes can lead to compensation of the intermodal dispersion of group velocities (IDGV) while exciting fiber by light pulse with the special transverse distribution of the intensity. The suppression conditions of IDGV in microstructured fiber, which is based on polymethylmethacrylate, are found for 650 nm wavelength.
