Scattering of the plane electromagnetic wave by thin dielectric cylinder

Annotation: An alternative of the auxiliary sources method for numerical solution of the problem of electromagnetic scattering by thin dielectric cylinder is suggested. The mathematical formulation of the alternative is given. Some results of the numerical calculations are presented.
