Abstract: The innovative approaches to information retrieval, semantic search approaches, are presented. The following semantic search approaches as Ask Jeeves, TrueKnowledge and Hakia are briefly discussed. Modifications of the semantic technologies application are analyzed, and comparison of the semantic search approaches with the traditional keywords search approaches is carried out.
