Abstract: A numerically-analytical model of the single-phase power factor corrector, which is based on the single-cycle voltage increasing type converter, is presented. The possibility of dynamics research of the closed loop regulation system is analyzed. Tendencies in changes of the energy characteristics of a converter are evaluated for sorting choice of passive components parameters.
