On constitutive parameters and invariants of an isotropic chiral medium

Annotation: Different tools of description for an isotropic chiral medium on the base of symmetrical constitutive relations are compared. Invariant parameters of the medium are introduced and discussed using mean wave numbers of the intrinsic wave fields (the Beltrami fields) of the chiral medium.
