Abstract: The expression for height-gain function is obtained in the problem of propagation electromagnetic waves over the Earth. The Taylor series formula is obtained for height-gain function. That formula is used for calculation of height-gain function for different type’s surface of the Earth and different numbers term of modal series the attenuation function over an earth. Getting results may be used in ground based radio navigation systems and also for developing communication system.
