Surface nano-texturing of aluminum oxide ceramics with the use of laser and electron beams

Abstract: Regular surface nano-textures of aluminum oxide ceramics have been obtained with the use of laser and electron beam impacts. The geometry and phase composition of the nano-textures were investigated using the methods of electron microscopy and X-ray structure analysis.
