Abstract: Increasingly, organizations are developing sophisticated computing systems on whose services they need to place great trust. In different circumstances the focus will be on differing properties of such services. Simultaneous consideration of availability and integrity provides a very convenient means of subsuming these various concerns within a single conceptual framework, where necessity of the universal identification system is considered and the possible variant of its support is offered on the basis of various models of access.
