Trend analysis for time series of NDVI

Abstract: The trend analysis of time series of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) for the period of few years is reviewed. The method is based on the establishing long-term trend (several years), annual and semi-annual linear trends and further assessment of their ratios. The results of the parameter estimates for NDVI trends derived from satellite radiometer MODIS are described.
