Diffraction characteristics of holographic polarization PDLC structures with non-uniform phase profile

Abstract: In this work we have developed the analytical model of light beam diffraction on phase-inhomogeneous polarization diffraction structures in polymer-dispersed liquid crystals. Numerical simulations, made on the basis of developed model for structure with uniform amplitude and quasi quadratic profiles, show that the structure’s non-uniformity leads to its angular selectivity changes.
