Abstract: The method to estimate the bearing and the roll angle of moving objects using radio beacon which radiate two crosspolarized signals of the same frequency, amplitude and phase, is proposed. On the device board the received signals are modulated by the phase plate rotation in the microwave antenna channel. The amplitude and phase of the receiver output single-channel at the fourth harmonic of the modulation frequency are analyzed and used to calculate the bearing and the roll angle of the device.
