Abstract: The article enunciates development principles for a computer application, allowing estimation of basic reliability measures of technical system when the data on its components is incomplete or imprecise. The introduced formulae, based on fuzzy numbers apparatus, allow evaluating fuzzy counterparts of system reliability, failure rate, mean time to failure and reliable life. Authors propose major steps for the algorithm of fuzzy reliability measures evaluation, provided that system redundancy architecture is known and at least part of components’ reliability model parameters are represented as a fuzzy numbers.
