Abstract: In the paper we proposed the method of forming of step operation mode of an induction motor by amplitude modulation of phase voltage supply on one of the windings interruption. The functional circuit and mathematical model of drive is presented. The assessment of the impact load parameters on the output characteristics of drive and energy indicators is made.
