Abstract: In the paper we analyzed the superposition of m-degree cosine amplitude distribution and m-2 – degree cosine amplitude distribution with weighting coefficient Δ m− 2 . In comparison with well-known m-degree cosine distribution, these amplitude distributions have optimal ratio of the side lobes level and antenna aperture efficiency. The obtained amplitude distributions can be used as the basis for the synthesis of radiation patterns with an increasing level of the side lobes.
