Influence of the edge effects of medium with spiral sym-metry on the resonant frequency of electromagnetic waves absorption

Abstract: A comparison of experimental data on the passage of electro-magnetic waves through a medium with spiral symmetry is presented with the results obtained using calculations based on the numerical model of the experiment under consideration. The environment model is an endless array of spiral antennas. It is shown that as a result of the presence of edge effects, this mod-el gives underestimated estimates for the resonant absorption frequency of the medium under study.
