Study of a single-wave rectifier with capacitive load

Abstract: The article presents the results of theoretical calculations and SimInTech program simulation of a function of a single-phase single-wave rectifier with a capacitive filter and an active load. The correlation between the average load voltage, the minimum load voltage, the ripple factor and the RC load constant are given. The article shows that the available in literature approximating dependences of the load voltage characteristics do not correspond to either the results of theoretical calculations or the results of mathematical modeling. The found dependences allow to produce the optimal value of the smoothing filter capacitance for the desired load.
