Abstract: The results of measurement and simulation of the time response of the modal filter to ultrashort pulse impact are presented. In simulation two forms of impact are used: triangle; as close to the real ultrashort impact. The comparison of time responses is carried out. The efficiency of the accurate accounting of the real shape of the pulse is shown.
