Abstract: The activity of the defense industry in market conditions must necessarily be based on quality education of the personnel, on the achievements of science in the field of weapons. By the beginning of the 2000s the situation with MIC staff was unfavorable. Today there is an increasing shortage of personnel for the military industry. This article analyzes the existing situation with the staff in the defense industry and offers a number of comprehensive measures to address the situation.
