Abstract: A simple algorithm for calculating the propagation factor in the presence of radiowave reflection from an elevated atmospheric layer is offered. The results of propagation factor calculation over a series of the sea radio paths using the proposed method are compared with the data obtained from numerical solution of the parabolic equation and the calculation accuracy of former method is estimated.
