Abstract: The problem of modeling diagnostic parameters is considered to determine beginning and ending points of filtration flows during hydrodynamic studies of horizontal wells by pressure buildup curve. The results of a comparative analysis of the proposed and graph-analytical method for filtration flow diagnostics based on field data of horizontal wells are given. As diagnostic parameters, estimates of variable coefficients of the pressure derivative, obtained by the method of adaptive identification during hydrodynamic studies of wells, are used.
