Discovery and localization of defects in pipeline networks

Annotation: Detection of defects in the pipeline networks of heat supply is an urgent scientific and practical task, since the quality of the service provided to the consumer depends on the timely and accurate detection of the place of the pipeline burst and the prompt elimination of this defect. The article discusses some methods of detection and localization of leakage in the system of pipelines of the heating system and the possibility of their practical application. Preference is given to the correlation method of detection of coolant leakage. The analysis of the correlation method of leak detection and developed recommendations for use.
