The ways that we choose

Abstract: The directions of research conducted in the period from 1965 to the present time in TUSUR with the participation of the author are examined: Acousto-optical methods and devices for processing radio signals based on the phenomenon of laser radiation diffraction at hypersonic waves in crystals; Digital telecommunications systems with packet switching, which still represent the basis for information transfer even nowadays. A similar system built in the Tomsk region is described, as well as the organization of a study process to prepare students to work with the system. The methods developed for accounting thermal energy consumed by a single entity is presented. The method allows mass energy savings.
