Statistical modeling of IPTV-network for an assessment of probable characteristics of packets' service and channel throughput

Abstract: We consider a statistical algorithm realizing the Monte Carlo method. The effect of delays on the throughput of an IPTV network is simulated. In the Delphi software environment, DelayProg is implemented to calculate the bandwidth of the channel (authored by RK No. 008473), which confirms the scientific novelty of this work.
